SEABA - South End Arts + Business Association
Description:As the leading nonprofit organization supporting both arts and commerce in the South End of Burlington, Vermont, SEABA needed a fresh website and constituent relationship management tool. SEABA wanted a place for members to show off their art, and products or services to the public. The Art Hop is an annual event put on by SEABA. With hundreds of participating artists and businesses, and tens of thousands of visitors to the South End for the event, SEABA needed a database to help organize and support their efforts.
Strategy:HINGE created a custom design to reflect the SEABA brand and implemented a constituent relationship management (CRM) application, complimented by a content management system (CMS) to allow SEABA to update content and manage memberships. Online registration for Art Hop participants was created through an interactive form connected directly to the CRM, allowing for dynamic building of digital member files including uploading of member art and online payment for membership dues. Each member can sign in to the site to post their contact information about their art or business, allowing them to personalize their own profile pages.
The graphic design of the site was inspired by the skyline of the South End which includes many smokestacks reminding us of the longtime economic workhorses of the neighborhood.
